Panel Doors

Choose between our wide range of panel doors.

Firehold was re-formed in May 1994 and became Firehold NSA CC. The company’s main focus had been the Class A, B, C and D Fire Doors Units. In 1998, after Ephriam Gordon retired, the door plant continued and a new design of Fire Doors was developed in the year 2000 using the light-weight Calcium Silicate core. This new core was tested and introduced to the market with resounding success. The particular qualities of this material can be found in the Technical Data Sheets.

The current door plant was established in 2003, where the Flush Panel division specialized in “Special Contract Manufacturing”. In the latter part of that year, the late Jack Maitland joined the team. He was instrumental in the revival of the Domestic Entrance Door division and the merchant business increased dramatically.

A Joinery division was started and is now headed up by Alan Tomlinson. He is a specialized joiner, manufacturing quality solid timber products, producing for the School, Clinic/Hospital industry as well as finer joinery for large homes, estates and hotels.

More recently a Steel Division was established, manufacturing steel frames and transformer room doors. With this last addition, The Door Group is now able to supply the industry with a wide range of products for contract and domestic use.

Our staff complement is of a professional standard with some employees having 30 years experience in the door industry. The excellent quality products being produced and workmanship is based on these years of experience. THE DOOR GROUP is pleased to state that with all of the above, it is proud to be a successful door and frame manufacturing company with continued growth and vision for the future.

We are proud to say that we meet the FSC chain of custody (coc) standard (40-004). We are able to supply quality FSC certified Doors, as per FSC specifications to our customers at any time upon request. We are thereby helping to sustain our forests
